1. The software and its license
Universal MCP Bridge ("UMB", "the Software") is source-available, with its full source code published on GitHub by Feature Collective Investments, LLC under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. The full license text ships with the Software and governs your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute it. Where these terms and the PolyForm license differ as to the Software itself, the PolyForm license controls.
2. Noncommercial use is free
Any noncommercial purpose is permitted at no cost: personal projects, research, education, evaluation, and use by noncommercial organizations. All features are included — there are no tiers, server limits, or feature gates in the Software.
3. Commercial use requires a license
If you use UMB for a commercial purpose, you need a separate commercial license from Feature Collective Investments, LLC. A commercial license is a legal grant — a contract and certificate, not a software key. The Software does not check, enforce, or unlock anything based on it; enforcement is contractual, the same as any software agreement.
- Team: $49 per developer / month up to 10 developers, or a flat $499 / month (or $5,000 / year) for unlimited seats
- Enterprise: negotiated, value-based annual agreement for larger organizations

4. No DRM, no monitoring
We do not monitor your usage, fingerprint your machines, or collect telemetry from the Software — it cannot do any of those things. We will never reach into your systems to verify compliance. We rely on the same good faith any source-available-plus-commercial license rests on.
5. Third-party MCP servers
UMB connects to third-party MCP servers that you configure. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for those servers or their behavior. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEATURE COLLECTIVE INVESTMENTS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY MCP SERVER, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY AND EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Feature Collective Investments, LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Changes to the Software license itself are made per-release in the published source.
